Adventure into the world of shapes!

Kids explored all kinds of shapes and learned to calculate the area and perimeter of squares, rectangles and triangles.

What's more important than basic arithmetic?

Continuing the Intro to Multiplication & Division course, this course built off old concepts and delved into advanced multiplication and division, focusing on 2-digit by 2-digit equations and exploring a variety of problem-solving strategies.

From where we came from, to where we'll be...

Where did we come from? What connects us to the plants and animals around us? Students learned about the history of evolution, exploring the mechanisms of DNA and adaptation. They also talked about how species are going extinct faster than ever, and what scientists are doing to stop the current mass extinction event.

Building off of our Intro to Algebra I course, students learned how to solve, factor and graph quadratic equations in this course , starting with the basics and moving onto complex numbers.

¡Hola amigos! Spanish is a language that many choose to take during their time in school, and it’s no surprise: Spanish is the official language of 20 countries, with over 500 million Spanish speakers worldwide! This course eased into the basics of Spanish, covering both vocab and grammar. By the end of the course, students began connecting with the Spanish-speaking world.

Intro to Algebra I

Welcome back to a classic math course!

Algebra I can be a little tricky, but this fast-paced course familiarized students with solving algebraic equations and inequalities. Students also learned how to graph linear equations and inequalities, as well as how to solve and graph systems.
